What happened is that the throttle/pedal sensor sent a command to the controller, and the controller sent a command to the motor which in turn moves the bicycle. The controller’s job is to control all the different electric components on the bike.

The motor source of power are the batteries. There are different kinds of batteries that are separated by many attributes such as: size, weight or toxicity.

The behavior of the e-Bike is very similar to a normal bicycle, in most of the parameters. Most of the weight is still the driver’s weight and the aerodynamics considerations have not changed.
